La Fattoria in Idstein

We have been regulars in the beautiful Fattoria restaurant for many years and can only say again and again that the food, the service and not to forget the beautiful ambience is always great. You feel very well cared for there and everything is familiar and everything is made possible even with extra requests. Also from our side very nice bigger celebrations took place in our beloved restaurant to the complete satisfaction. We can only highly recommend this restaurant. Brigitte and Hartmut

By far the best Italian in Idstein! Despite the current situation, we got divine mixed starters, fresh and delicious! The Vitello Tonnato oh my god! Try it ... addictive. As a main course, I treated myself to a crown of lamb in an olive bread crust, seldom ate something delicious in this quality. My wife couldn't decide between baby calamaris, scampis and lemon noodles, so she simply ordered calamari and scampi with Strangozzi noodles as a side dish. It was just a dream !! The white wine Fiano such a delicious Sicilian, thanks for this recommendation! Our daughters ordered the Penne alla Norma and an excellent Saltimbocca alla Romana. But the icing on the cake was: tiramisu and panna cotta like out of a textbook ... madness !!!! We were MEGA satisfied! Thanks to the Montana family and the entire Fattoria team for this wonderful meal and advice! This year we will surely stock up on wine and antipasti delicacies for the Christmas holidays! Great food. Unfortunately, the minimum order value (25 EUR) for home deliveries is far too high. Here, the operator should rethink something during the Corona crisis.

Ciao a tutti, La Fattoria is a great restaurant to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine. We opted for bruschetta, saltimbocca alla Romana or homemade pasta with chanterelles and pork fillet tips. It was really good! :) For the grappa lovers: There is a Nonino menu ;-)

A great recommendation! Very tasty and homemade Italian food. Diverse selection and very cordial service. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant and cozy. In good weather there is also seating outside. Clean, tidy and even during Corona you feel in good hands here.

From very good food to raw pizza calzones, we've seen a lot here. I expect more from an Italian who presents himself with polished wine glasses at the table and lots of chic. Most of the time you wait a long time for the food and if you "only" order a pizza and a beer here you feel like a second choice customer and are treated that way. To sit outside, eat a pizza, absolutely okay. I wouldn't give a recommendation for this Italian due to the fluctuating quality.

On July 4th - Eat pizza for once: 20 minutes to the drinks. Pizzas came after a total of over an hour. Request for payment also skilfully ignored for almost 15 minutes ... Staff totally overwhelmed, food partially burned / charred (1 out of 3) and two pizzas lukewarm. Money, time and nerves burned. Never again.

Food was very good, service was quick and friendly. Corona rules were observed.

When this place first opened, the quality of food and service was impeccable. I ate here every day for months. They started getting popular, and I believe got a new chef, and everything started going down a bit. It was still good, but not as good. I haven't been there in 6-7 years, as I left Germany, but it was one of my favorite places for a long time.

Very nice food friendly people

VERY long waiting time (1 1/2 hours) for not so good food. The young waitress showed up after an hour and was unable to bring water to the table. The only bright spot was the personal apology from the cook and the owner and a very good dessert on the house.

Cozy, clean italian restaurant. Big place inside, around 10 tables outside on a terrace. Tasty food, big portions, friendly personnel, good prices. There is also available “menu of the day“.
